The Management of Time in the Indoor Sex Industry Exchange

This PhD research explores the use and experience of time in the indoor sex industry exchange. It explores the idea that the sex worker may be a ‘manager’ of time, seeing as it is usually time sold within the exchange. The research is being completed by Laura Jarvis-King, within the School of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Leeds. The research has received full ethical approval and is being supervised by Professor Nick Emmel and Dr Kahryn Hughes.

I feel like I’m at a stage in the research now where I can start to write a bit about what I’m finding out, which is why I have started this blog, and I’d really love to hear all feedback.
